Snowman

I love this huge snowman. We went to Chena Hot Springs back in March during spring break and they had this huge snowman there. One of the cool things about this guy was that he had a face on both sides. The girls thought that was hilarious. It was the first time either of the girls had been there and they had a great time. Hailey loved the pool because she could touch the bottom.

Orin Kale Staiger-A Little Tardy

I am such a bad poster!! I love the idea of the blog because it is like a running journal, but I suppose one actually has to post for it to work.

Orin was born on April 29 and weighed in just shy of 8 pounds. He is a beautiful baby and is perfect in every way! We love him to eternity and back. Here are just a few beginning pictures of him. I promise more pictures of him before the summer is over :)

I found this really cool site- Zulily.com. It is a shopping site for moms and their kids. I love that you can get things at a discount and that it is not your typical run of the mill goods. Everyone should check it out. I found these really cool stringable hearts that came in a super cute container with a scooper. Both girls enjoy them for different reasons. Hailey LOVES the scoop and Zoe loves matching the words with the pictures. They could play with these for hours. Check them out and then check out zulily.com!!!

Updates

Since I am such a bad blogger the only thing I can muster up is an update with no pictures! We are doing great here in Fairbanks. The girls are growing, our new home is almost finished, my belly is growing (a little) and well, that is about it. We should be moving into our new home by the middle of February. Just working on last minute details. The exterior will not be completely finished until this spring, but that is okay. We have sold our now home to a wonderful young woman and I think we will still be able to have our Midnight Sun Run party!!! That is good news because Zoe was a bit anxious about that part. Our new baby is due the very end of April, beginning of May and we are getting excited. Hailey tells me we need to have 2 babies because she is not sharing her baby with anyone. We will see how this whole thing plays out. She told me the reason she was not going to hold her new cousin was because he was too biggie and too chunky for her and she was waiting for her baby. Goodness, that girl makes me laugh!!!

Hope everyone is enjoying winter!!! The light is returning here, and I could not be happier.
